Over the last 20 years, Scott Kammerer has established himself as a premier developer of restaurant companies and concepts on the East Coast; he has built, developed and consulted on more than 50 projects that have grossed more than $250 million.

A former champion wrestler and All-American football player from East Brunswick, NJ, Kammerer has earned degrees in business at Rutgers University and in hospitality management at Cornell University.  He now resides in Delaware, and is a founding partner in Highwater Management along with restaurateur Matt Haley.

As the premier food service management company for the Eastern Shore, Highwater Management oversees nearly 1,000 employees and $45 million in annual managed sales.  The extensive Highwater portfolio includes such projects as the Ruddertowne Complex in Dewey Beach, the Cape -May Lewes Ferry, Kent County Sports Complex, Sports at the Beach Baseball Facility, and the Jack Nickalus-designed Troon golf course at BearTrap Dunes.

Kammerer is also a founding partner of HaleyKammerer Restaurant Consulting, which has worked with high profile restaurants throughout the Mid-Atlantic region including: Que Pasa Cantina in Dewey Beach, Fins Fishhouse - one of the top 30 raw bars in America, Troegs Brewery and Tasting Room in Hershey, PA- named by the Great American Beer Festival organization as one of the best mid-sized breweries in America, and award-winning Salt Air Seafood kitchen, a restaurant designed and conceptualized by Matt Haley from scratch.

Scott remains part of the core management team of SoDel Concepts, an 8-restaurant and catering group named by Inc. Magazine as one of fastest growing companies in America.  Among the SoDel restaurants are Bluecoast Seafood Grill, named one of the top-10 destination restaurants in America, and Matt’s Fish Camp, recently awarded “Best Seafood Restaurant” by Delaware Today Magazine.

Kammerer is, and remains, an original board member of The Global Delaware Fund.  As a winner of Delaware Today Community Award, has partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of 

Rehoboth, the Milford Music School, and the Food Bank of Delaware, among others, here at home. The GDF is also very active abroad, and is currently working toward building an orphanage in Nepal, after building two schools in the region.

Up-and-coming projects include acting as an executive producer to SoDel Films, which strives to create a vibrant short film and documentary culture for Coastal Delaware.

Scott lives in Lewes with his wife Lisa and their sons Griffin, Holden and Carson, who he actively coaches in youth sports.
